2nd Open Tournament "Thursday's long time control"

The Club 64 Modena A.S.D. chess club, under the aegis of the FSI Emilia-Romagna Regional Committee, organises the evening tournament "Thursday's long time control", valid for FIDE Elo rating changes in accordance with current regulations.

The time control is 90 minutes per player, with an increment of 30 seconds per move from move one. The tournament is played over 7 rounds with Swiss-system pairings. The round will start at 19:30 and a player who arrives at the board more than 60 minutes after the start time will lose the game.

Pre-registration can be made either on the Club 64 website (www.club64.it), on the website www.vesus.org, or by calling 339 285 2986 (Adriano) or 331 445 3954 (Sergio), no later than 03/04/2024. Entries must be confirmed at the playing venue by 19:00 on 04/04/2024.

The contribution to organisational costs is set at Euro 25; Euro 20 for Under 16. A surcharge of Euro 5 applies to players who have not pre-registered.

Players holding an FSI Agonistic Card or Junior Card valid for 2024 may take part in the tournament. Those without one may take it out at the tournament venue before the start of the competition.
