26th Open Rapid Tournament "Città di Modena"

The Club 64 A.S.D. chess club organises the 26th Open Rapid Tournament "Città di Modena" at the club's official venue, in the main hall on the first floor of Polisportiva San Faustino.

The tournament is open to players of every category and will take place on Sunday 3 December 2023, with entries closing at 9:45 and the first round starting at 10:00.

The tournament will be FIDE Rapid Elo-rated in accordance with current regulations and the 2023 FSI membership card is mandatory for Italians and for foreigners resident in Italy. It will be possible to take out the membership card at the playing venue.

Rounds: 9 with Swiss-system pairings.
Time control: 12’ per player + 3’’ per move.
A player who arrives at the board more than 12’ after the start of the round will lose the game.

The Federal Technical Regulations in force at the time of the event will apply.

Entry fees:
Adults € 25
Under 16 (born in 2007 or later) € 20
GM, IM free (provided they pre-register)
Surcharge of € 5 for those who have not pre-registered.
