CANCELLED --- Modena Provincial Championship 2021 - Memorial "Mario Viola" --- CANCELLED

Club 64 A.s.d. Modena organizes the Modena Provincial Championship memorial "Mario Viola", counting as a Round of 16 of the 81st Italian Absolute Championship. The tournament will be valid for FSI/FIDE ELO rating changes.

Eligibility: all players from the province of Modena or from other Italian provinces holding an FSI Competitive, Ordinary or Junior membership card may take part, provided they are Italian citizens.

Rounds: 5 with the Swiss system
Time control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move with no intermediate time control
A player who arrives at the board more than 60 minutes after the start of the round will lose the game by forfeit.

Qualification: the top 30% of finishers among players registered with clubs of the Province of Modena with a category of Prima Nazionale or lower will qualify for the 2021 Regional Absolute Championship.

Titles at stake: The highest-placed player registered with a club of the Province of Modena will be proclaimed 2021 Provincial Absolute Champion.

Entry fee: 30 euro (25 euro for those born after 31/12/2004).
