Italian Youth Chess Championship - Modena Provincial Stage

The FSI Provincial Delegate calls, and Club 64 A.s.d. of Modena organizes, with the collaboration of the Polisportiva Forese Nord of Albareto, the Modena provincial stage of the Italian Youth Chess Championship.

Date: 8 March 2020 - 9:30
Time control: 30’ per player; the number of rounds will be announced before the start of the tournament
Tournaments by age group: UNDER 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18.
Entry fee: € 5,00.

The tournament management reserves the right to merge the tournaments of adjacent age groups in case of low participation; separate standings will in any case be drawn up for each age group.

Participation is open to players meeting one of the following requirements:
a) under 18 players (born in 2002 or later) of Italian citizenship;
b) foreign U18 players resident in Italy, who have been FSI members for at least one year in the five years prior to 2019 and who hold a certificate of attendance at a public or private school for the 2019-2020 school year; a copy of this certificate of attendance must be handed to the arbiter directing the tournament.
It is essential to have a valid FSI membership for 2020.

Pre-registration is mandatory, to be made no later than 6 March 2020, directly on the website http://www.vesus.org/ or by e-mail to info@club64.it, stating the child's first name, last name and date of birth.
The Management reserves the right to close pre-registrations once the maximum capacity of the tournament venue is reached.
Pre-registrations must be confirmed in the playing hall by 9:15 on 8 March.
