TOURNAMENT CANCELLED BY ORDER OF THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY

24th Rapid Tournament "Città di Modena"

The Club 64 A.S.D. chess club organizes the 24th Open Rapid Tournament "Città di Modena" at the club's official headquarters, in the main hall on the first floor of the Polisportiva San Faustino.

The tournament is open to players of all categories and will take place on Sunday 29 November 2020, with registration closing at 9:45 and the first round starting at 10:00.

The tournament will be FIDE Rapid Elo-rated according to current regulations, and the 2020 FSI membership card is mandatory for Italians and foreigners resident in Italy. It will be possible to purchase the card at the venue.

Rounds: 9 with the Swiss system.
Time control: 10’ per player + 5’’ per move.
A player who arrives at the board more than 10’ after the start of the round will lose the game.

The F.S.I. anti-COVID protocol will be applied. All tables will be fitted with dividers, making the use of a mask alone mandatory.

Adults € 20
Under 16 (born in 2004 or later) € 10
GM, IM free (provided they pre-register)
€ 5 surcharge for those not pre-registered.
