23rd Rapid Tournament "Città di Modena"

The Club 64 A.S.D. chess club organizes the 23rd Open Rapid Tournament "Città di Modena" at the club's official headquarters, in the main hall on the first floor of the Polisportiva San Faustino.

The tournament is open to players of all categories and will take place on Sunday 1 December 2019, with registration closing at 9:45 and the first round starting at 10:00.

The tournament will be FIDE Rapid Elo-rated according to current regulations, and the 2019 FSI membership card is mandatory for Italians and foreigners resident in Italy. It will be possible to purchase the card at the venue.

Rounds: 9 with the Swiss system.
Time control: 12’ per player + 3’’ per move.
A player who arrives at the board more than 12’ after the start of the round will lose the game.

Entry fees:
Adults € 17
Under 16 (born in 2003 or later) € 10
GM, IM free (provided they pre-register)
€ 3 surcharge for those not pre-registered.
