The twenty-sixth edition of the Modena Rapid Open ended yesterday, with 42 players at the starting line.\nCN Francesco Liloni wins, taking the tournament by finishing with 8 points out of 9, and completing the podium are CN Riccardo Dionigi (7.5/9) and FM Valerio Luciani (7.5/9).\nThe Board thanks all the Members who took part, helping to make the Modena Rapid Open one of the best-attended fast-time-control events in the region.\nEveryone greatly enjoyed the atmosphere of fun and cheerfulness that was created at the playing venue: we think it is a fundamental component for tournaments of this kind, as well as the greatest satisfaction for the organisers.
