Paolo Vezzosi wins the 25th Modena Rapid Open!
The twenty-fifth edition of the Modena Rapid Open ended yesterday, with no fewer than 80 players at the starting line.
IM Paolo Vezzosi wins, taking the tournament by finishing with 7.5 points out of 9, and completing the podium are 1N Ottavio Mammi (7.5/9) and CN Riccardo Dionigi (7/9).
The Board thanks all the Members who took part, helping to make the Modena Rapid Open one of the best-attended fast-time-control events in the region.
Everyone greatly enjoyed the atmosphere of fun and cheerfulness that was created at the playing venue: we think it is a fundamental component for tournaments of this kind, as well as the greatest satisfaction for the organisers.
