CIS - MASTER 2022: WorldTradingLab Club 64, Italian runner-up, at the starting line

Club 64 Modena, together with sponsor WorldTradingLab Srl, will take part in the 53rd edition of the Italian Team Championship Master division, which will be held from 19 to 25 April 2022 in Montesilvano (PE).
The event will pit the best national players against each other and will have significant media coverage, including the online broadcast of all games with live multilingual commentary by professional experts on the chess24.com platform, as well as through the official website of the event and that of Club 64.
The yellow-and-blue team, presented in the Master section of Club 64, is made up of Grandmaster Andrea Stella (the twelfth Italian chess player in history to have obtained the highest title of Grandmaster), Grandmaster Hristos Banikas (eight-time Greek Absolute Champion and silver medallist at the 2005 olympiad), International Masters Edoardo Di Benedetto, Paolo Ladron de Guevara and Alberto Barp, FIDE Masters Francesco Seresin and Gabriele Franchini (Captain) and the young Modena talents from Club 64's youth ranks, CM Luca Ballotti and CN Enrico Giuntini.
After the historic eighth place obtained at the 2019 European Championship, Club 64's standard-bearers will be busy defending the title of national runner-up obtained in the 2021 Master.
Seeded teams in the tournament, in addition to the Italian champion line-up Obiettivo Risarcimento Padova (no. 1 in the draw), are also Partenopea Senior (no. 2) and Fischer Chieti (no. 3). WorldTradingLab - Club 64 starts as no. 4 in the draw.
Our team will open group A today at 16:00 by meeting the Sicilian line-up Don Pietro Carrera Catania.
