Francesco Ferraguti wins the 24th Modena Open!
The twenty-fourth edition of the Modena Open ended yesterday, with over 50 players at the starting line.
CN Francesco Ferraguti confirms himself as champion, repeating his 2019 success by finishing with a commanding 6.5 out of 7.
Completing the podium are 1N Vincenzo Magagnini (6/7) and CN Alberto Travaglini (5.5/7).
The Board thanks all the Members who took part, helping to make the Modena Open one of the best-attended fast-time-control events in the region.
Everyone greatly enjoyed the atmosphere of fun and cheerfulness that was created at the playing venue: we think it is a fundamental component for tournaments of this kind, as well as the greatest satisfaction for the organisers.
