The 4th stage of the Cerg in Albareto has ended: 34 players
On Sunday 10 February the 4th stage of the 2019 C.E.R.G. circuit took place at the premises of the Polisportiva Forese Nord in Albareto.
21 players in the Beginners category and 13 players in the Parents category challenged each other with pawn pushes to measure their respective strength.
We thank the polisportiva for making the venue available to us and for treating us to a few slices of pizza to help our very young players keep their concentration; we thank Enzo Molinari of the Circolo Lolli of Cavezzo, who came both to play and to help us manage the hall, confirming the mutual friendship that has bound our clubs for years now.
And no less important, even if often mentioned last, we thank the lovely arbiter of the event, in this case Sara Franceschi, who came to arbitrate bringing her husband along as babysitter for their 9-month-old son. Not bad for a first arbitrating experience.
