Record entries at the 6th CERG stage in Soliera: 38 players!
The sixth stage of the Coppa Emilia-Romagna Giovani took place on Saturday 30 March in Soliera.
Split as usual between the Beginners tournament and the Open tournament, the event recorded 38 entrants, thus setting the provisional participation record for this season of C.E.R.G. tournaments.
The winners of their respective categories are: Vittoria Verrelli (1st U8), Antonio Verrelli (1st U10), Giovanni Tabanelli (1st U12) and Nidia Borsari (1st female player).
A well-deserved thank you to arbiter Lorenzo Rosa and to our member Sergio Garofalo, indispensable for the organisation and management of the event.
Next event in Vignola on 4 May, where, alongside the Beginners and the Open, a qualifying tournament for the Italian Youth Championship will also be held.
