Good participation at the 1st "Regina del Balsamico" Tournament in Spilamberto
The first “Regina del Balsamico” chess tournament in Spilamberto ended yesterday, with almost 30 players taking part and competing for rich prizes in kind. Special thanks go to our member Francesco Venturelli for the passion, commitment and dedication he put into organising this event; the help of his family members, who gave us great support with the set-up, was also strategic. Special thanks also go to the mayor and the councillor for culture of the Municipality of Spilamberto, who honoured us with their presence and their valuable contribution.
The final standings, drawn up by arbiter Antonio Sfera whom we thank for his collaboration, see the victory with 5.5/6 points of Mattia Sfera, followed by Andrea Venturelli, Maria Vittoria Galli, Giovanni Barbieri, Gianluigi Rebizzani and David Mazilu.
