Francesco Ferraguti wins the 23rd “Città di Modena” Rapid Tournament

The popular “Città di Modena” Rapid Tournament, now in its twenty-third edition, ended late on Sunday afternoon.
First place overall goes to the Club 64 representative, CM Francesco Ferraguti, at his first career victory, with 7.5 points out of 9, followed by FM Valerio Luciani (7/9), CM Luca Ballotti (7/9) and M Marco Caprino (6.5/9).
The 2000-2199 band prize goes to CM Nicola Timpani (6/9), followed by CM Massimiliano Ballista (6/9) and M Stefano Palermo (5.5/9).
The 1800-1999 band prize goes to CM Luca Ballotti (7/9), followed by Pedro Luís Agudelo (6/9) and CM Marco Benincasa (6/9).
The 1600-1799 band prize goes to 2N Enrico Giuntini (5.5/9), followed by 2N Francesco Debbi (5/9) and CM Sergio Garofalo (5/9).
The 1450-1599 band prize goes to 2N Dionis Hodo (5.5/9), followed by 2N Cristian Villa (4.5/9) and 1N Gianfranco Ghirardi (4.5/9).
The band prize up to 1449 goes to Elia Bergamaschi (4.5/9), followed by Marcos Vergara Meersohn (4.5/9) and 3N Ottavio Mammi (4/9).
The cup for the best female player goes to 3N Anna Alessio (4/9) of the Scacchi Bridge EUR club of Rome.
