Five qualified for the Italian Youth Championship Under 16
Today in Vignola, on the premises of the "Età Libera" Social Centre, the first FSI/FIDE-rated qualifying tournament valid for access to the Italian Youth Chess Championship Under 16 took place, in which young chess players, boys and girls, strove to earn qualification in the U8, U10, U12, U14 categories. At the end of the day, after the 5 rounds played, the following qualified for the next stage: Mammi Ottavio, Azzolini Filippo, Georgescu Mario, Merlino Arianna, Tedesco Erika. We thank the tournament arbiters Antonio Sfera and Lorenzo Rosa and the tournament helpers C. Damiano Ballestri, C. Alberto Cavazzoni, Luca Ricchi and Mattia Sfera.
