Chess and culture: the "Scacchi & Coffee" tournament in Vignola a success
Yesterday the first chess tournament took place at the prestigious Caffè Terzi in Vignola, which saw 6 high-level players compete in a spectacular round-robin. A striking moment was the tasting of 5 fine coffees from all parts of the world, expertly presented by Angelo Terzi and extracted with the mastery of his father Manuel Terzi, one of the leading figures of coffee in Italy and in the world. The contribution of Professor Achille Lodovisi was much appreciated: he turned the tasting into a true philosophical café, where not only the senses but also the intellect were stimulated in a moment of great cultural depth. The contribution of our instructors Damiano Ballestri and Luca Ricchi, who directed the whole event, was strategic.
