21 players played the 1st Serramazzoni Tournament
Yesterday the first Serramazzoni chess tournament took place, which saw 21 players compete over five rounds. The winner with 4.5/5 points was 1N Moreno Merciari, representing the "G. Barbieri" club of Sassuolo, followed by 2N Francesco Debbi and CM Sergio Garofalo. In the Under 12 category Lorenzo Sola wins with 3/5 points, followed by Antonio Verrelli, Giacomo Montorsi, Erika Tedesco and Simone Demurtas. In the Under 8 category Arianna Merlino wins with 2/5 points, followed by Vittoria Verrelli.
