Simultaneous exhibition with GM Luca Moroni at #club64
#club64 decided to give a simultaneous exhibition as a gift to all the young chess players of the province, a unique opportunity to experience playing against the 2017 Italian Absolute Champion.
27 children and 5 adults came to challenge him, for a total of 32 boards. The competitive level of the young champion is of course beyond question; what surprised everyone present, however, was seeing a boy in the middle of his teenage years show such great availability and warmth towards the little ones, putting them all at ease.
Andre Agassi used to say that if you don't train enough you don't deserve to win; today we had the pleasure of understanding that if you don't have heart you don't deserve to be a champion.
