First meeting of the la mezz'ora d'aria tournament

The first meeting of the "La mezz'ora d'aria" tournament took place on Thursday 5 April 2018, with 18 players gathering at the Modena premises of Club 64 in via Wiligelmo 72 to play the first 2 of the tournament's 8 rounds.

The tournament format, which involves meeting midweek at 20:30 to play 2 games so as to be able to play without staying up too late, was particularly welcomed by most; good participation by the very young with no fewer than 6 U16s. The next meeting will be on Thursday 12; if there are new players interested, we welcome them with open arms.

Thanks for the organisation go to CM Sergio Garofalo, who went out of his way to publicise the tournament, devise it and set up the hall.
