2 promising young girls hold up the Ghirlandina

Another brilliant result for Maria Vittoria Galli, young Club64 champion and already Italian flag-bearer at the 2017 world chess championships in Brazil. With 7 points out of 9, level with the runner-up, and earning third place among the U12 girls.

An excellent placing too for our Anastasia Sfera, who reached ninth place in the U14 standings and earned the terza nazionale title.

These 2 promising young players achieved the best results in their respective categories in the shadow of the Ghirlandina.
