Moreno Merciari wins the Giochi e Ritorni 2017

An all-time participation record for the 2017 edition of the Giochi e Ritorni, which recorded no fewer than 37 players from the Region at the starting line. The tournament was won on tie-break, with 5 points out of 6, by 1N Moreno Merciari, who finished ahead of Walter Maran and Walter Paoli in the leading trio, all level on 5 points. Fourth overall Andrea Sacchetti and fifth overall the very young Luca Ballotti. First in the 1700-1900 band Sergio Garofalo, first in the 1500-1700 band Roberto Mocanu and first in the band below 1500 Daniele Lugli.
