Club 64 Reloaded promoted to Serie C
Club 64 Reloaded wins Group 3 of the CIS Promozione Emilia Romagna. Group 3 of the Emilia Romagna Regional Team Championship, Promozione division, concluded on Sunday 26/3/2017 in Ferrara. The Ferrara grouping hosted 3 tournaments: Serie B7, Serie C13 and Group 3 of the Emilia Romagna Promozione division. In total 134 players who, on 12 boards and over the 5 rounds scheduled across the 3 days of the weekend, played chess in silence inside a fine venue made available by the Circolo Scacchistico Estense; the tournament arbiters were Graziano Ballista and Fabrizio Ballotti. Our youth team "Club64 Reloaded", the group winner, fielding: Isacco Faglioni, Luca Ballotti, Enrico Giuntini, Dionis Hodo, Roberto Mocanu, Dario Cienfuegos Vergara Meersohn and Simone Santoro, finished in first place with 9 team points out of 10 and 14.5 board points out of the 20 available, drawing only with the very strong C.S.B. I Saggi team from Bologna. The “Club64 Reloaded” boys, who had the 3rd highest average Elo calculated on the top 4 players of each team, gave their best in every game of every round, managing on their own a rotation of players across the various rounds that deprived their opponents in the following round of any point of reference. A splendid weekend in Ferrara played by a small group of boys barely thirteen years old.
