The first 3 stages of the 2016 Lampi Estivi have been played
The eagerly awaited Modena blitz circuit, the Lampi Estivi 2016, resumed last 10 May. As is tradition, 12 stages are scheduled, with final standings based on the best 8 tournaments, to be held in Modena, Sassuolo, Vignola and Formigine. A great turnout in the first 3 stages of 2016, with an average attendance of 23 players per evening. The level of the individual tournaments is also very high thanks to the presence of International Masters, FIDE Masters, Masters and numerous Candidate Masters. The first two stages were won by WGM Olga Zimina and the third stage by CM Fabrizio Frigieri. All the standings of the individual tournaments, the overall standings and the photo galleries are available under calendar - archive. Next appointment in Sassuolo on Tuesday 31 May for the fourth stage of the circuit.
