2016 CERG standings after the first 6 stages

On Sunday 7 February the sixth 2016 stage of the CERG youth circuit took place in Marano sul Panaro. A total of 57 young chess players took part in the tournament, 38 of them in the tournament reserved for the Emergenti and 19 in the Talenti tournament. Among the Emergenti, Olmo Marchi won on tie-break with 5.5 points out of 6, ahead of Alessandro Zaniboni (5.5) and Filippo Azzolini (5). The young Talenti tournament was won on tie-break by Luca Garavini with 5 points out of 6, ahead of Roberto Mocanu (5) and Dionis Hodo (4). The overall schools and individual standings can be consulted on the CERG page of the website. Next appointment Saturday 5 March in Modena for the traditional Bussi memorial.
