The 2nd 2016 CERG stage held in Gaggio

On Sunday 22 November the second 2016 stage of the CERG youth circuit took place in Gaggio in Piano. A total of 38 young chess players were present at the tournament (25 young Emergenti and 13 young Talenti). Among the Emergenti, the tournament was won by Olmo Marchi with 5.5 points out of 6, ahead of Gaia Marchi (5) and Alessandro Zaniboni (5). The young Talenti tournament was won on tie-break by Sofia Marinelli with 5 points out of 6, ahead of Anastasia Sfera (5) and Simone Cacchioli (4).
