Master Luca B. wins the first stage of the 2015 TDT

The traditional Torneo dei Tanti 2015, now in its twelfth edition, started on Thursday 19 February. Excellent participation in the first stage, which recorded 18 players. As always the level of the tournament was very high, with no fewer than 8 players of master level. The circuit's opening tournament was won by Master Luca B. from Modena, who finished with 5 points out of 6. Second was Candidate Master Nicola Timpani (4.5) and third on tie-break Candidate Master Fabrizio Frigieri (4.5). Luciano Panini won the 1N-2N prize and Valerii Nasonkin the 3N-NC prize. We look forward to seeing many of you at the second stage on Thursday 26 February.
