Gasparini and Ballotti the winners of the Bussi

Last Saturday 7 March the seventh 2015 CERG event of the Modena provincial circuit, dedicated to the memory of the Modena Master Franco Bussi, took place in Modena. A total of 42 young Emergenti and 27 young Talenti at the starting line, for a total of 69 participants in the tournament. Among the Emergenti, Jacopo Gasparini dominated the tournament with 6 points out of 6, ahead of Enrico Covili (5) and Alessandro Badiali (5). Luca Ballotti dominated the young Talenti tournament with 6 points out of 6; second was Michele Melotti (5) and third Kelvin Frimpong (4.5). The overall standings after the first 7 tournaments are available on the CERG page of the website. In the schools standings Palestrina of Modena leads with 95.5 points, ahead of Deledda of Gaggio (78.5) and Bersani of Albareto (77.5). In the overall Emergenti standings Alessandro Pavesi (72 points) is still in the lead, ahead of Matteo Grigoli (64) and Jacopo Ottaviani (52). The overall Talenti standings are led by Luca Ballotti (71.5 points), who has overtaken Michele Melotti (70.5) by one point; Francesco Cioni is third with 60 points.
