M Lapenna wins the second stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi

A great success in terms of participation at the second stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi in Sassuolo, which recorded 20 participants in total. The level of the tournament was confirmed as very high, with no fewer than 7 players out of 20 of master category. Master Antonio Lapenna from Nonantola wins the tournament, finishing with 9.5 points out of 10. Second Master Giuseppe Coratella from Verona (9) and third FIDE Master Valerio Luciani (7.5). Fabrizio Frigieri wins in the 2000-2200 band, Paolo Sarti in the 1800-2000 band, Buccella Francescantonio in the 1600-1800 band, Fiore Antonio in the 1450-1600 band and Alessandro Biacchi in the band below 1450. We look forward to seeing many of you at the third event in Sassuolo on Tuesday 20 May.
