M Lapenna wins the 5th stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi

The fifth stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi in Sassuolo recorded a total of 18 participants, 7 of them titled or of master category. Master Antonio Lapenna wins the tournament, finishing with a perfect score of 10 points out of 10 and leaving the runner-up no fewer than 2.5 points behind. Second FIDE Master Valerio Luciani from Verona (7.5) and third Candidate Master Marco Benincasa (6.5). Luca Barillaro prevails in the 2000-2200 band, Roberto Landi in the 1800-2000 band, Francescantonio Buccella in the 1600-1800 band, Antonio Fiore in the 1450-1600 band and Alessandro Biacchi in the band below 1450.
