M Coratella wins the first stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi

The traditional 2014 Lampi Estivi circuit, now in its fourth edition, began on Tuesday 6 May. Good participation at the opening stage in Sassuolo, which recorded 15 players. The level of the tournament was very high, with no fewer than 9 players out of 15 of master category. Master Giuseppe Coratella from Verona wins the circuit's opening tournament, finishing with 9 points out of 10. Second Master Luca Barillaro (7.5) and third Master Antonio Lapenna (7). Fabrizio Frigieri wins the 2000-2200 band prize, Michelangelo Lapenna the 1800-2000 band, Guido Rovatti the 1600-1800 band and Alessandro Biacchi the band below 1450.
