FM Valerio Luciani also dominates the second stage of the 2014 TDT

The second stage in Modena recorded the participation of 13 players, one more than the opening tournament in Sassuolo. The level of the tournament was even higher, with 9 players out of 13 of master category. Once again FIDE Master Valerio Luciani from Verona dominates the tournament, finishing with a perfect score of 6 points out of 6. Second Candidate Master Marco Vincenzi (5) and third Candidate Master Gian Marco Marinelli (4). Roberto Setti wins the 1N-2N prize and Paolo Pavesi the 3N-NC one. Valerio Luciani is already pulling away in the overall standings. We look forward to seeing many of you at the third stage in Sassuolo on Thursday 6 March.
