FIDE Master Luciani wins the 9th stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi

The ninth stage of the 2014 Lampi Estivi in Sassuolo recorded a total of 18 participants, 5 of them of master category. FIDE Master Valerio Luciani from Verona wins the tournament, finishing with 9 points out of 10. Second on (the fourth!) tie-break Woman Grandmaster Olga Zimina (9) and third Master Giuseppe Coratella from Verona (8.5). Luca Barillaro prevails in the 2000-2200 band, Michelangelo Lapenna in the 1800-2000 band, Francesco Tomei in the 1600-1800 band, Paolo Pavesi in the 1450-1600 band and Marcello Roncaglia in the band below 1450. We look forward to seeing many of you at the tenth stage in Sassuolo on Tuesday 8 July.
