Emma Cassanelli at the World Youth Championship in South Africa
The World Youth Chess Championships under 18 are under way in Durban, South Africa. Club 64's colours are represented in the girls' under 8 by the very young Emma Cassanelli, who triumphed in the national final in Tarvisio (won with 9 out of 9!) and thus earned her ticket to play in the World Championships. The experience will certainly be very intense, and our wish is that it be as positive as possible in every respect. The Federation's team leaders Fernando Braga and Daniel Contin are following and preparing the young Italian delegation in the best possible way.
