Club 64 2nd in the Club standings at the U16 national finals
A decidedly positive expedition for the Club 64 youngsters at the national finals of the 2014 U16 individual youth championships in Tarvisio. Thanks to the excellent results achieved by the association's young athletes, Club 64 finished in second place in the special Club standings, behind the Circolo Scacchistico Cagliaritano and ahead of the Accademia Scacchi of Milan. Many youngsters brought in valuable points: Emma Cassanelli (1st and Italian champion in the girls' U8), Cacchioli Simone (10th in the U10M), Becchi Andrea (13th in the U10M), Ballotti Luca (14th in the U10M), Lancellotti Jacopo (16th in the U10M), Marinelli Sofia (6th in the U10F), Anastasia Sfera (8th in the U10F), Wang Cesare (11th in the U12M), Faglioni Isacco (18th in the U14M). A positive tournament for many other Club 64 youngsters (there were 21 finalists in all in 2014). An excellent result also for the Emilia-Romagna Region, which finished second behind Lombardy. Congratulations to all the finalists and thanks to the families who accompanied the youngsters.
