CERG 2015 gets under way in Gaggio in Piano

The traditional CERG youth tournament, valid as the first event of the 2015 Modena provincial circuit, was held on Sunday 23 November in Gaggio in Piano. In total 61 young chess players were present at the tournament (33 young Emergenti and 28 young Talenti). Among the Emergenti, Marco Calabrò wins the tournament with 6 points out of 6, ahead of Jacopo Ottaviani (5) and Alessandro Pavesi (4.5). Michele Melotti wins the young Talenti tournament with 5.5 points out of 6, ahead of Luca Ballotti (5) and Francesco Cioni (4.5).
