WGM Olga Zimina wins the eighth blitz stage

Record turnout at the eighth blitz stage of the 2013 circuit in Sassuolo, which saw 21 players from all over the province take part. As always the level of the tournament was very high too, with numerous FIDE-titled players, masters and candidate masters. WGM Olga Zimina wins the eighth event of the circuit with 9 points out of 10, ahead on tie-break of Master Antonio Lapenna. Third place with 8 out of 10 for FM Valerio Luciani from Verona. We look forward to seeing many of you at the ninth stage on Thursday 4 July at the Club 64 premises in Modena.
