The national under-16 youth championships get under way
The national under-16 youth championships will begin on Sunday 30 June 2013 in Courmayeur. As always, the Club 64 youth contingent will be very large, with no fewer than 24 finalists at the starting line. Only the Accademia Scacchi of Milan will bring a greater number of finalists, with 30 in total. There will be 66 finalists from Emilia-Romagna in all, second only to Lombardy (106). The Club 64 youngsters will have to defend the Italian titles and the excellent placings achieved in recent years. Good luck, kids!
