The final evening goes to 1N M. Lapenna and victory in the 2013 blitz circuit to FM Luciani

The turnout record was beaten by a wide margin at the final evening of the 2013 blitz circuit in Modena, which saw no fewer than 30 players from all over the province take part. 1N Michelangelo Lapenna from Nonantola wins the 12th and final blitz stage, with 8 points out of 10. Second place for CM Marco Benincasa with 7.5 points and third CM Fabrizio Frigieri (7). At the end of the evening the final prize-giving of the 2013 blitz circuit was also held; the circuit was dominated by FIDE Master Valerio Luciani from Verona with 66.3 points. Second overall FM Gabriele Franchini (62.7 points), who thus becomes provincial blitz champion. Third place for CM Marco Benincasa (58.9 points), promoter of the circuit.
