Simultaneous exhibition by WGM Olga Zimina in Soliera

The free simultaneous exhibition by woman grandmaster Olga Zimina, for several years a regular member of the Italian Olympiad team, took place as scheduled in Soliera on the evening of Monday 15 July. The event was open to everyone. The event recorded 23 participants in total, including some players of a good level. The score was decidedly very much in Olga's favour, as she finished with 22 wins and just one draw. The draw was scored by Olga's long-time pupil, the young candidate master Davide Di Trapani, the highest-rated of her opponents. Great satisfaction on the part of the organisers (Mrs Pina) and of the parents of the participating children. On Monday 5 August Soliera will also host an evening rapid tournament with free entry.
