Master Antonio Lapenna wins the second blitz stage of 2013

Master Antonio Lapenna takes the hard-fought second stage of the 2013 summer blitz circuit with 8 points out of 10. The average Elo of the 15 participants was very high: 2022 Elo points! Present were no fewer than 2 International Masters (Paolo Vezzosi and Olga Zimina), a FIDE Master, a Master and several Candidate Masters. Second overall IM Paolo Vezzosi (7,5/10) and a surprise third for Michelangelo Lapenna (also with 7,5 points), who has lately been showing good blitz skills. We look forward to seeing many of you at the third stage on Thursday 23 May at the Baraonda bar in Sassuolo.
