Friendly between Modena and Bologna, the "Secchia Rapita": 1st round to C.S.B.
C.S.B. of Bologna takes the first leg of the "Secchia Rapita", a friendly match over 10 boards between Club 64 of Modena and C.S.B. of Bologna. The Bologna players, despite a lower average Elo, proved more competitive than the Modena players at the 30-minute time control. At the end of the double challenge with reversed colours, the final score of the first leg is 11,5 to 8,5 for C.S.B. It will be very hard for Club 64 to bring the Secchia Rapita home on Wednesday 26 April, the date set for the return match in Bologna at the C.S.B. venue. But at this point the pressure will be all on the Bologna players, and who knows....
