FM Gabriele Franchini dominates the 4th blitz stage

FIDE Master Gabriele Franchini dominates the fourth stage of the 2013 blitz circuit in Crevalcore, scoring a stunning 9,5 out of 10 (our friend Paolo De Biaggi was the only one to snatch half a point from the winner). As always the average Elo of the players was high and the overall turnout was good, with 14 present. Second overall CM Fabrizio Frigieri (7/10), who prevailed on tie-break over third-placed FM Valerio Luciani. Thanks to Giancarlo Minelli (a Club 64 member living near Crevalcore), who coordinated the evening superbly and set up the playing venue to perfection. We look forward to seeing many of you at the fifth stage on Thursday 6 June at Polisportiva San Faustino in Modena.
