End-of-course school tournament in Soliera
As is tradition, the end-of-course school tournament was played last Saturday 9 March at the primary school in Soliera. The tournament is always keenly felt by the children and appreciated by the parents. Participation by the children was very high, with no fewer than 74 taking part in the tournament. Matteo Lusvardi of 4A edged it on tie-break over Andrea Becchi of 3C. Both finished the tournament unbeaten with 5,5 points out of 6, conceding only a draw in their head-to-head game. The school's Headteacher and the Councillor also attended the prize-giving.
