Club 64 organises a closed tournament valid for IM norms

Club 64 of Modena is organising for the first time a closed tournament (10 players – 9 rounds) valid for achieving IM norms (FIDE Cat. I-II-III, with the guaranteed participation of 2 GMs > 2500) as the basis for a possible series of similar subsequent events.
This event stems from the desire to offer, on Italian soil too, opportunities to achieve Norms for international titles without going abroad and with the guarantee of facing a roster of players that is certainly valid for norms.
The tournament will take place from Monday 18 March to Sunday 24 March at the “Madonna del Corso” Cultural Centre in Maranello (Modena), with the essential patronage of the Municipal Administration of Maranello.
