1st International Festival "Città di Soliera"

The Club 64 Modena A.S.D. chess club, in collaboration with ARCI Soliera, organises the 1st International Festival "Città di Soliera", valid for FIDE Elo rating changes in accordance with current regulations.

Players holding an FSI Agonistic Card or Junior Card valid for 2023 may take part in the tournament. Those without one may take it out at the tournament venue before the start of the competition.

Two tournaments are scheduled: Open A for Elo above 1800 and Open B for Elo below 1900, to be held from 16 to 18 June 2023 at the Centro Habitat in Soliera, with the first round starting at 20:00.

a player who arrives at the board more than 30 minutes after the start time of the round will lose the game.

Contribution to organisational costs: 30 euro, 20 euro for U16.
Entries: mandatory pre-registration by 14/6/2023, on Vesus or on the Club 64 website.
Rounds: 5 with Swiss-system pairings.
Time control: 90 min. + 30 sec. per move.
Tie-break system: Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz Total, ARO.

Electronic devices may be brought into the playing hall provided they are kept switched off and not on the person.
For anything not covered by this announcement, reference is made to the Federal Technical Regulations.
The organisers reserve the right to make any changes that may become necessary for the success of the event, including the awarding of a maximum of 2 wild cards for tournament A.
