Luca Ballotti is a Master, Ottavio Mammi is a Candidate and passes Elo 2100!
An extraordinary result for Luca Ballotti, who with 5/9 at the second First Saturday IM international tournament held in Budapest (Hungary) against a difficult field of IMs and GMs, sets his personal record Elo rating and earns the title of national Master.
A highly notable result also for Ottavio Mammi who, having already earned the title of national Candidate Master, gains two and a half K at the Easter Festival in Montesilvano with the superb performance of 4/6, recording sixth place overall in the tournament, passes Elo 2100 for the first time and makes a serious bid for the title of Master.
