Samuele Mammi wins the 11th San Geminiano Rapid Tournament!
Excellent turnout at the eleventh San Geminiano Rapid Tournament, which recorded the presence of 35 players, including 14 newcomers who, with their passion for the game, are renewing the Modena chess scene.
The time control was particularly appreciated, providing for 7 minutes each plus a 3-second increment per move. The tournament is won by CM Samuele Mammi, who finishes with 6.5 points out of 8, winning the tie-break against IM Paolo Vezzosi (6.5/8).
Following half a point behind the winner are CM Riccardo Dionigi (6/8) and 1N Federico Malagò (6/8).
