VI San Geminiano Open Rapid concluded

Excellent turnout at the sixth San Geminiano Open Rapid 2018, which recorded the presence of 35 players, including several of master level. The time control, which provided 20 minutes each to complete the game plus a three-second increment per move, was particularly appreciated. The tournament was won by Alex Dobboletta, who finished undefeated with 4.5 points out of 5, level with the second place of Francesco Ferraguti, also on 4.5. Completing the podium, half a point behind the winner, were Fabrizio Frgieri and Luciani Valerio, respectively third and fourth in the final standings.
