The tastiest friendly tournament ever.

50 logs of wood, 26 chessboards, 80 people, 192 cans of beer, 210 sausages, 50 pieces of picanha, 50 loaves of French bread, 6 litres of assorted sauces, 240 small bottles of water and a bottle of Amaro del Capo were needed to make it happen, and then there were 2 wonderful spontaneous surprises.

Paolo De Biaggi turned up with 20 melons, which 3 non-players cut and prepared for us to enjoy together after the meat. And to make the evening even more unforgettable, the Ferraguti family donated a cinema ticket to all 26 U12 players.

We succeeded in our aim: to organise a barbecue among friends to worthily commemorate the memory of Luigi Ferraguti by playing a chess tournament since, as the mother of Francesco and Federico recalled, he had been a friend of #club64 ever since Francesco, at around 10 years old, started playing chess and taking lessons from Fabrizio Frigieri.

Thanks to the tournament arbiter Graziano Ballista, the grill master Lorenzo Formisano, the assistant organiser Dario Vergara and all those present who helped make the day special.
