2016 CERG standings after the first 5 stages

On Sunday 24 January the fifth 2016 stage of the CERG youth circuit took place in Cavezzo. A total of 66 young chess players took part in the tournament, 49 of them in the tournament reserved for the Emergenti and 17 in the Talenti tournament. Among the Emergenti, Daniele Garuti won with 6 points out of 6, ahead of Olmo Marchi (5) and David Mazilu (5). The young Talenti tournament was won by Jacopo Lancellotti with 6 points out of 6, ahead of Alberto Vergara (4.5) and Dionis Hodo (4).
